The event opened a direct dialogue between Iranian art and Chinese audiences and introduced the carpet\u2019s artistic potential beyond its decorative function. Classic works and handwoven pieces were shown alongside an introduction to the history and culture of the Iranian carpet. Iranian carpets and handwoven pieces were presented alongside other expressions of Iranian art and craft.
