Description

Superfine Parinaz is a re-weaving inspired by a Safavid kilim. In designing this piece, considering the atmosphere we had at the time of its creation, we added a poem that poetically completes the spirit and meaning of this handwoven work: We are the beggars of the Sultan's throng, Captives of the beloved's air we long. When our beloved wields their sword so bright, We lose our heads, and never turn from the fight. This poem, as a symbol of loyalty and endless love, alongside authentic Safavid designs, displays a message of commitment and attachment to art and beauty.
