In Persian, Sepas means gratitude, thankfulness or appreciation; the name was chosen for this carpet in keeping with its prayer-rug scale, mihrab design and its evocation of gratitude towards nature. The Sepas Carpet is designed with inspiration from the mihrab form and in a size close to that of a prayer rug. The vase and flowering branches upon its beige ground are rendered as a sign of gratitude towards nature; a carpet for moments of solitude, reflection and meditation.

The name Sepas was chosen for a carpet whose size is close to that of a prayer rug and which is designed with a mihrab motif; a work intended for meditation and quiet moments of gratitude. The mihrab form creates a space for contemplation, while the vegetal motifs allude to thankfulness for nature.
At the lower part of the design, a vase is placed from which branches and blossoms extend upwards towards the top of the mihrab. Blue, red and yellow flowers on a beige ground, framed by orderly brown borders, create a composition that is richly detailed yet balanced. Another version of this design has also been woven with a green ground, expressing the same theme of gratitude towards nature through a different colouring.
This carpet is woven in wool and cotton, originates from Heriz, and measures 140 × 80 cm.
